Life in Colour Photo Challenge 2021 – Yellow (5) – Assorted yellows

The final contribution from me to the yellow Life in Colour Photo Challenge for 2021 features a rather random assortment of yellows! Finding bright and cheery yellows was initially a challenge, but I soon found I had too many examples to choose from! Thank you Jude, from Heyjude Travel Words for setting such great challenges, and for giving me an excuse to wander through my photo archives and down memory lane!

Yellow stemmed bamboo, Brisbane Botanic Gardens
Competitor in the annual kite flying competition at Emu Park, Queensland
Yellow Cat dozer moving piles of blindingly white Magnesite to hoppers for loading onto a ship
Main line for Queensland Rail running along the East Coast from Brisbane to Cairns. In Rockhampton the single track still runs in the middle of Dennison street, with traffic giving way to the train as it makes its way slowly through the city.

That’s my final yellow challenge for February. I’m looking forward to seeing what the March challenge will be! Take a look at the other contributors to the challenge as there are some amazing photographs out there!
